Curling stones are produced of solid granite which is beaten in Wales, Scotland in a certain quarry and weigh approx. 20 kg. 8 stones of a team make one set. So one needs 16 stones for a game. In principle, the curling stones are made available by the respective clubs since these are hard to transport.
